The slow fall of the bait keeps it in the strike zone for the longest possible time which can actually annoy fish into striking. Also, the baits’ compact size is a perfect match for the size of young forage fish or crawdads. Small 2 to 3 inch crawfish and baitfish make up a large percentage of adult bass forage. In addition, the compact size of the Micro Bass Jig can be presented quitter than larger baits so you are less apt to spook fish. This is an extremely natural bait and presentation that does not give off negative cues. The Micro Bass Jig is offered in a PT or BT model with 45 strands of Premium Silicon material and a Mustad Ultra Point Hook. The PT model is made around a EWG hook and the BT model offers the option of a light wire or heavy flipping hook.
